# Servicio de Finanzas y Seguros (FIS) de OpenHIE

El Servicio de Finanzas y Seguros (Finance and Insurance Service, FIS) almacena, categoriza y facilita la administración de las reclamaciones centralizadas y los datos relacionados con las finanzas para la prestación de atención a los pacientes dentro del Intercambio de Información de Salud (Health Information Exchange, HIE). El servicio recibe las reclamaciones/datos financieros de aplicaciones de puntos de servicio (Point of Service, PoS) (incluidas las aplicaciones de financiación que actúan como interfaz de los puntos de servicio fuera de otros sistemas de PoS) y lleva la curaduría de su gestión.
